Becky’s Turkey ChiliINGREDIENTS
2 cans ORGANIC BLACK BEANS 2 cans ORGANIC TRI-BEAN BLEND 1 small can TOMATO SAUCE 1 pound of cooked ORGANIC GROUD TURKEY (Cooked with onions and garlic powder to taste) 1 cup of BROWN SUGAR 1 TBSpoon garlic powder Chopped white onion (or onion powder/salt of your choice) 1 TBSpoon all spice (your choice of brand you trust) 1 Packet of homemade Chili Powder (recipe below if needed) **make to taste... some will want less sweet and more spice and visa versa** |
INSTRUCTIONS
Brown turkey meat. Then add in beans, tomato sauce, spices and brown sugar. Stir together and let simmer on Medium heat for about 10 minutes (or until completely warm). Stirring often.
Taste - Add more chili powder or brown sugar or tomato sauce as you would like.
Return to simmer over low heat stirring often until ready to devour.

Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Organic of course)
Slice of American Cheese (good ole Kraft!)
Saltine Crackers
Green Onions (scallions)
White Onions (chopped very thin)
Corn Bread

HOMEMADE CHILI SEASONING:
We originally used the linked recipe above. And we have since tweaked it to be exactly what we want... We make a larger batch and store in an airtight container making it easy to add a dash to there recipes we use as well!!

**also we always use all organic spices... it makes a HUGE difference in the taste!!**

1.5 tsp Cumin
1.5 tsp Garlic Powder
0.75 tsp Onion Powder
0.5 tsp Cayenne Pepper (we use a dash of this!!)
